At Onelife Training, we’re proud to work with hundreds of schools, preschools, and nurseries across Devon – helping staff stay confident, compliant, and ready to respond in an emergency.
But even with so many schools already training with us, we know there are still some who may not realise just how simple, flexible, and accessible our courses are.
That’s why we’ve launched our new Back to Basics series – a campaign designed to strip away the jargon and highlight the key things every school needs to know about first aid and workplace training.
What is the Back to Basics series?
Each part of the series focuses on a specific area of training that schools often ask about – from Paediatric First Aid to E-Learning and everything in between.
Our goal is simple: to make first aid training clear, flexible, and easy to arrange, no matter the size of your team or the time of year.
Here’s a quick look at what the series covers:
🔸 Paediatric First Aid (Level 3)
1 day online + 1 day classroom – perfect for meeting EYFS and Ofsted requirements while fitting around the school timetable.
The online section takes around 6 hours to complete and can be done anywhere, on any device, either all at once or in bite-sized chunks to suit your schedule.
🔸 Workplace First Aid (FAW & Requalification)
Blended learning formats make it easy for school teams to refresh their skills with minimal disruption.
🔸 Specialist & Outdoor First Aid
Ideal for PE teachers, Forest School leaders, and staff involved in off-site trips and activities.
🔸 E-Learning Courses
Flexible, CPD-approved online training for inset days, inductions, and individual refreshers.
🔸 Unlimited Usage Option
A cost-effective solution for schools that train staff regularly – one simple annual fee, unlimited access.
