Half Day Fire Marshal

This qualification is for anyone who has a specific responsibility for fire safety in the workplace.

Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training.

There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy.

Fire safety

Half Day Fire Safety Awareness

This qualification is for all employees to increase their basic fire safety awareness. This training helps to fulfil an employer’s legal duty to train all their staff in fire safety.

Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training.

There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or equivalent.

Half Day Manual Handling

Moving and Handling (People) this again can be offered as a 1 Day or Half Day Course (Onelife Training Certification) or as a QA Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely (RQF) 2 Day Accredited course, this course is only offered onsite due to the fact that equipment is needed in order to train people within this area.

Half Day COSHH

Our E-Learning course is designed for people who currently work in industries that use and come into contact with Hazardous Substances or for someone who is undertaking a new role in an industry that uses Hazardous Substances, as well as line managers with responsibility for such people.

1 Day Confined Spaces

Those working in confined spaces. Those responsible for providing rescue cover at a work site. The student will gain knowledge of the special hazards that those working in confined spaces may encounter and the correct safety and working practices that should be adopted when working in such conditions.

Moving & Handling (People) Group Onsite Only

Staff who need a 1 Day Moving and Handling (Person) training. This is for areas of the Care Sector who have to move people with the use of working aids such as hoists, and various lifting equipment. This training is can be provided in house as either a 1 day course or a half day course. The half day course consists of legislation/ bio-mechanics then practical training.

Half Day Asbestos Awareness

This basic Asbestos Awareness is designed for those members of the workforce who may disturb Asbestos during their normal working hours. This course will give you the information and training you need to identify and recognize asbestos within materials and what you should do if you come across this It will involve discussion and interactive exercises.

1 Day Health And Safety In The Workplace

This is a basic Health & Safety Course. As an employer you have a responsibility for the welfare and safety of your employees. Your employees also have a responsibility for both themselves and for their colleagues, under the Health and Safety Act 1974.

Working At Height Awareness

This E Learning course is aimed at anyone who undertakes work at height, or who employs people who regularly work at height.

The term work at height applies to a wide range of situations ranging from the obvious ones like working on platforms, ladders, scaffolds or stages to working alongside deep trenches. This is because the crucial thing to understand about work at height is that it’s not how far you climb, but how far you can fall. ‘Falls’ doesn’t just mean people falling from heights.

This E Learning course is designed for anyone in the workplace to undertake as part of their Health and Safety requirement. Slips, trips and falls account for almost a third of non fatal injuries at work. It is a widely held belief that with just a few minor changes to working practices and attitudes this could be reduced significantly.

Electrical Safety

This course will start by covering the many benefits electricity brings to society as well as its key components voltage, current and resistance. It will explain the two main types of electricity, cover UK Accidents and death statistics, and describe a simple way of remembering the electrical hazards. It then goes on to provide basic instructions about how you could safely help someone you suspect has received an electric shock.

The Online Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment course is designed for those working on construction sites and is a requirement for those wishing to apply for a CSCS Green Card. In accordance with CITB anyone who is a labourer on a construction site must be a CSCS Green Card Holder.
