Entry Requirements
Learners must be at least 16 years old on the first day of the training.
There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that
Learners have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy.

Day 1 – Classroom Based Outdoors
- Assembly and Introductions
- Role and Responsibilities of a First Aider
- Incident Management & Casualty Assessment
- CPR & AED
- Drowning
Recognition & Management of life-threatening Illness - Choking Casualty
- Shock
- External Bleeding
- Minor Injuries
- Multiple Choice Assessment Paper

1 Day – 9.00- 5.00 – 8 Hours
Qualification:
QA Level 3 Award in the Fundamentals of Outdoor First Aid (RQF)
