It is based on risk assessment and depends on whether you are a low, medium or high risk business. An office could be deemed to be low risk whereas a garage or work shop could be higher risk.

Take a look at your accident book to determine how many accidents have taken place and what type of accidents they were. You can then do comparisons by looking at the 1 day first aid course and 3 day first aid course to see what they both cover and which may be more suited to you and your business.

Be mindful that you have sufficient first aiders to cover in the event of staff sickness and holidays.
