20 Apr Let’s talk about ticks!
Whilst most tick bites are harmless, some do carry Lyme Disease and as the weather improves and more people are outside, it’s wise to know what to do and what to look out for.
If you are outside and walking in long grass, woodlands, forests or your garden, make sure you check yourself and any pets for ticks. The quicker you remove them the safer it is.
Our Forestry First Aid course covers Lyme Disease as well as Adder Snack Bites and is packed full of helpful information on what to do in emergency situations. Our next Forestry First Aid course is running on the 22nd April and is just £60+VAT per person.
